Endowed Memorial Scholarship

The Robert Louis Allen Scholarship was established by family, friends and colleagues of Mr. Robert "Bob" Allen, former director of the USF Office of Public Affairs. This is a $500.00 non-renewable award for undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled and who have completed at least three semesters of satisfactory work at USF. For all majors within the College of Arts & Sciences. Priority given to Mass Communications majors.

The minimum criteria are as follows:

  • Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale) or higher is required.
  • ACT minimum composite score of 25 or SAT minimum score of 1120
    • Scores Reported on the GRE revised General Test
    • Verbal Reasoning - 130–170
    • Quantitative Reasoning - 130–170
    • Analytical Writing - 0–6
  • GRE (Graduate Record Exam) minimum scores of 500 verbal, 4.5 writing, and 550 quantitative
  • GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test) minimum score of 650
  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) scores earned within (2) years of the desired term of entry. A minimum score of 79 on the internet-based test, 213 on the computer-based test, or 550 on the paper-based test are required.
  • United States Citizen
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree seeking student, who has completed at least three (3) semesters of satisfactory work at USF
